Is it weird if I let my son watch the My little pony show?
I mean he is 12 and ... well the show is named My little Pony Friendship is Magic its clearly for young girls shouldn't he be like watching transformers or playing Grand Thief Auto or something .I am starting to get a little worried.
I would never stop him from watching the show I'm not "that" kind of parent but it still seems "weird"

Don't worry. The Bronies thing is very real and growing in popularity. There are several boys at my daughter's school, ages 10-12, who watch MLP. One, 11, has an MLP t-shirt that he wears with pride.

It's not for little girls. It's one of the best shows out there that anyone can watch.
I know perfectly normal grown men and women that watch it. I know little kids and teens and everyone in between that watches it.
Don't worry. It isn't weird. He will eventually grow out of it sooner or later. Some kids at 13 still watch Icarly so it isn't a bad thing :)
No my 12 year old boy and some of his friends are Bronies too. I jokingly get him My Little Pony trading cards sometimes when I go to Target.
